Sprinkle brisket with pepper and paprika.
Slice onions on top to cover.
Mix remaining ingredients well and pour over meat. Marinate overnight.
Bake at 300° to 325° for about 3 to 4 hours, depending on oven and thickness of meat.
When ready to serve, slice very thinly against the grain and serve with sauce.
