Remove the shell and skin and wash thoroughly.

Soak the armadillo in salty water overnight in the refrigerator.

Cut the armadillo into pieces like chicken.

Place in covered pot and cover with water and add crab boil.

Boil for 30 minutes or until tender.

Remove and brown in butter, then place in shallow baking dish and brush on mixture of melted butter, Dale's steak seasoning, liquid smoke and barbecue sauce.

Bake at 300Β° for one hour.

Baste every 20 minutes.

Serves 2.
