Beat butter and sugar with mixer until creamy.
Beat well; blend in bananas.
Blend flour, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg together and gradually stir dry ingredients into banana mixture.
Pour batter into 2 lightly greased loaf pans.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350Β° or until done.
Toothpick should come out clean and loaf be golden brown.
Wrap after cool for a moist bread.
