Banana Nut Loaf
Banana Nut Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 c. margarine, 4 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream sugar and margarine; add eggs, one at a time.
Mix well. Add vanilla and butter extract.
Combine baking soda and flour; add alternately with buttermilk beginning and ending with flour. Add bananas and nuts.
Mix well.
Bake in 3 greased and floured 8-inch loaf pans at 300Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
