Banana Nut Cake

In a large bowl mix together flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
Add shortening, 1/3 cup buttermilk and bananas. Beat for 2 minutes.
Add 1/3 cup buttermilk and eggs, beating for 2 minutes.
Fold in chopped nuts.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350Β°.
