Banana Nut Bread
Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 1 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 or 3 large), 2 eggs and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease bottom only of loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inch.
Mix sugar and margarine.
Stir in bananas and eggs until blended.
Stir in remaining items except cereal.
Stir in cereal. Spread in pan.
Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 60 to 70 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool completely before slicing.
