Banana Cupcakes
Banana Cupcakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. sifted flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening and 1/4 c. sour milk or buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Use electric beater.
Beat shortening until creamy.
Add sugar gradually and continue beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition until fluffy.
Stir in vanilla.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk and bananas, a little at a time, beating after each addition until smooth.
Put into well-greased cupcake pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 minutes. Frost with your favorite frosting.
Makes 18 to 20 cupcakes.
