Banana Cream Pie
Banana Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 tbsp. flour, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk, scalded and 2 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Slowly stir in hot milk; cook until it thickens, stirring constantly.
Stir a little hot mixture into well beaten egg yolks and pour back in boiler.
Cook 2 minutes.
Remove from heat; add vanilla and cool until warm.
Peel bananas; slice in crust.
Beat egg white until stiff.
Add 1/4 cup sugar.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
