Banana Chocolate Loaf
Banana Chocolate Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and salt. Mix well. Dissolve baking powder and soda in the sour cream; add the first mixture.
Stir in banana pulp.
Add the flour gradually.
Add the vanilla and chocolate chips.
Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 70 minutes.
Can be served warm a la mode.
Freezes well.
