Banana Bread
Banana Bread is an moderately easy baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour 56 minutes. Made with oleo, softened, c. sugar, eggs, c. mashed ripe bananas and c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream oleo gradually.
Add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Add bananas and mix until smooth.
Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, stirring just enough to moisten.
Stir in chopped pecans and raisins.
Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 350 degrees for one hour.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to completely cool.
Makes 1 large and 1 small loaf.
This freezes well.
(Good for muffins, too.)
