Sift dry ingredients in a bowl.
Cut in shortening.
Purée the bananas and add to the flour and shortening along with well beaten eggs.
Do not over beat.
Place in a 350° oven and bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes.
Cool before slicing.
