Baked Spaghetti
Baked Spaghetti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 (28 oz.) can broken tomatoes, 3/4 c. chopped green pepper and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook and stir ground beef and onion in skillet until beef is brown.
Drain off grease.
Stir in tomatoes with liquid, green pepper, water, mushrooms, salt, sugar, chili powder or oregano and spaghetti (broken into 2-inch pieces).
Turn into 2 1/2-quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 375Β°, stirring occasionally until spaghetti is tender, about 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Cheddar or processed American cheese.
Return to oven, uncovered, and bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
