Made with 8 diced, boiled potatoes (red potatoes are best), 1 c. mayonnaise, 1 lb. pkg. velveeta cheese, diced, 1/2 c. chopped onions and 6 sliced raw, diced bacon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix potatoes, mayonnaise, cheese and onions.
Put in buttered baked dish, 9 x 8-inches or 12 x 8-inches.
Top with bacon and olives.
Bake in 325Β° oven for 1 hour.
Don't peel the potatoes; cook them whole and let cool.
Substituting for Velveeta cheese is not recommended.
