In a 13 x 9-inch glass Pyrex dish, pour a layer of olive oil. Cut up about 10 plum ripe tomatoes in halves.

Bake in 350Β° oven until the tomatoes get a little soft or to the consistency you like (approximately 35 minutes). It doesn't look like tomato sauce.
Cook up linguini and add to the Pyrex dish that the tomatoes are in.
