Baked Deer
Baked Deer is an impressive dinner. Made with deer meat, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. white pepper, 3 bay leaves and 1/2 c. onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Well with soda.
Rinse well with cold water. Place in a deep roasting pan.
Mix together first 9 ingredients.
Pour over cover and bake 45 minutes at 375°. Uncover and put bacon on deer and cook 60 minutes at 350°, basting several times.
Leaves and skim off grease.
Up vegetables and place around deer.
Add cornstarch to the sauce and cook 45 more minutes or until done.
