Baked Chicken Breasts
Baked Chicken Breasts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 whole chicken breasts, boned, skinned and split, flour, butter, 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup and 1 pt. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Flour chicken breasts and brown in skillet with small amount of butter.
When browned on both sides, layer chicken in casserole dish.
Combine soup, sour cream, water chestnuts and mushrooms and pour over chicken.
Sprinkle almonds over the top.
Bake 1 hour in preheated 350Β° oven.
The chicken breast casserole can be made the night before, refrigerated and then baked prior to serving.
