Baked Bean Casserole
Baked Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bacon, 1/2 c. minced onion, 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans, 2 c. lucky leaf applesauce and 1/2 c. molasses, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook bacon until crisp.
Crumble.
Drain.
Leave 2 tablespoons of bacon fat in pan.
Add onions and cook until soft not brown. Combine beans, applesauce, molasses, Worcestershire, vinegar and mustard.
Put in 3-quart casserole dish.
Stir in onion and reserved crumbled bacon.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
