Baked Bananas
Baked Bananas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large bananas (slightly green), 1 tsp. vegetable oil, 1 orange, 1/2 c. honey and 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Peel bananas; split lengthwise and cut crosswise into halves. Place in greased 5 x 10-inch Pyrex dish.
Peel orange; cut in sections and place in small bowl with honey and lemon juice.
Toss lightly and spoon over bananas.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes or until bananas are soft.
Remove bananas from pan with spatula to prevent breaking.
Sprinkle with coconut and place a maraschino cherry on each serving.
Serves 8.
