Aunt Patty'S 24 Hour Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans pineapple tidbits, 6 egg yolks, 4 tbsp. sugar, 4 tbsp. vinegar and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Drain pineapple, reserving 4 tablespoons syrup.
In top of a double boiler, beat egg yolks slightly.
Add the reserved syrup, sugar, vinegar, butter and a dash of salt.
Place over hot water; cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly and barely coats on spoon, about 12 minutes.
Cool to room temperature.
