Aunt Pat's Easy Truffles
Aunt Pat'S Easy Truffles is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can duncan hines creamy milk chocolate frosting, 2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, 1 c. pecan halves, divided, 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips and 3 tbsp. crisco shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine frosting and confectioners sugar in large bowl.
Stir with wooden spoon until well blended.
Cover each of 36 pecan halves with 1 tablespoon candy mixture.
Roll into 1-inch balls; set aside.
Chop remaining nuts.
Place chocolate chips and shortening in a 2-cup glass microwave dish for 2 minutes on Medium heat; stir until smooth.
Dip one candy ball into hot chocolate mixture until completely covered.
Remove with fork and sprinkle with remaining nuts.
Allow to set, makes 36.
