Audrey's Buttermilk Chicken
Audrey'S Buttermilk Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 chicken breasts, skinned, 1 1/2 c. buttermilk, divided (1/2 c. and 1 c.), 3/4 c. plain flour, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 1/4 c. oil (to grease pan only), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Dip chicken in 1/2 cup buttermilk, then roll in flour/pepper mixture.
Put oil in a baking dish and heat in oven for a minute.
Then place chicken in hot oil, breast side down.
Bake 30 minutes, uncovered.
Turn chicken and bake 15 minutes more.
Turn chicken again and pour the soup/1 cup buttermilk mixture over chicken.
Bake 15 minutes more.
