Asparagus Casserole
Asparagus Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded, 4 c. soda crackers, crushed, 1 c. butter, melted, 4 (14 1/2 oz.) cans cut asparagus and 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Mix cheese, cracker crumbs and butter. Press firmly into bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch glass casserole. Add asparagus juice to soup (juice from 2 cans, not 4).
Arrange asparagus over cracker crust.
Top them with mushrooms, then pour soup mix evenly over all.
Put on nuts.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until bubbly all over.
