Apricot Sauce
Apricot Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, 2 1/4 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and 1 (12 oz.) can apricot nectar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine brown sugar with cornstarch, salt and cinnamon in a saucepan.
Add apricot nectar, hot water, orange flavoring and grated orange rind.
Bring to full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add butter and chopped pecans.
Pour over sweet potatoes until covered, if desired.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes. Keep in refrigerator.
