Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dried chopped apricots, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. shortening, 1 egg, beaten and 1/2 c. frozen orange juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Soak apricots in warm water about 20 minutes.
Cream sugar, shortening and egg.
Stir in orange juice and 1/4 cup sugar.
Sift dry ingredients and mix with creamed mixture.
Drain apricots and stir into batter with nuts.
Bake at 350Β° for about 1 hour in greased and floured bread pan.
