Apricot Bread
Apricot Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. snipped dried apricots, 2 c. warm water, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. butter, softened and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Soak apricots in warm water for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cream sugar, butter and egg.
Stir in orange juice.
Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir into creamed mixture until combined real well.
Drain apricots well.
Add to batter with nuts.
Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 55 minutes or until done.
Makes 1 loaf.
