Applesauce Meatballs is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean ground pork, 1 lb. ground chuck, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. parsley and 1 1/2 c. toasted bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Thoroughly, but lightly mix together all ingredients, except flour, shortening and consomme.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Roll in flour to coat lightly and brown in hot fat.
Place in baking dish, using all drippings and add consomme.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 45 to 60 minutes.
Thicken gravy; serve over noodles. Serves 8.
