Beat well the margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add and beat applesauce and peanut butter.
Mix together flour, salt and soda and add to mixture.
With a wooden spoon, stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts.
Add extra flour, if needed (depends on the applesauce).
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
