Cream shortening, sugar and eggs; stir in applesauce and water. Stir in dry ingredients.
Add raisins and nuts.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350Β° for 35 minutes or until tested done. Can be iced with Cream Cheese Frosting.
