Apple Walnut Cobbler
Apple Walnut Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 medium apples, peeled and sliced, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 c. chopped walnuts and 1 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Place the apples in a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup nuts.
Sprinkle over the apples.
Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar the baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl beat together the egg, milk and butter.
Add to the flour mixture; mix until smooth.
Pour over the apples; top with 1/4 cup nuts.
Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for 40 to 50 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Serve warm.
