Apple Salad
Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained), 2/3 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavor gelatin, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1 c. diced unpeeled apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a saucepan, combine apple and sugar.
Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
Add gelatin; stir until dissolved.
Add cream cheese and stir until combined.
Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping.
Pour into a 9-inch square pan.
Chill until firm.
Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
Serves 9 to 12.
