Apple Cranberry Shortcake
Apple Cranberry Shortcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. thinly sliced eating apples, 1 c. fresh cranberries, 1/4 c. water, 2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Put apples, cranberries, water, sugar, cinnamon and salt in saucepan; bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer until apples are tender.
