Apple Cake
Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. diced apples, 2 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 c. cooking oil, 1 c. walnuts, dates or raisins and 2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine apples and sugar, then add oil, walnuts, eggs, vanilla and salt.
Sift together flour, soda and cinnamon; add to apple mixture.
Bake in 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased pan in a 350Β° preheated oven for 1 hour.
Serve with whipped cream or lemon sauce or top with powdered sugar blended with peanut butter.
Add a little hot water if needed.
