Apple Betty(Crisp!)
An old-fashioned American apple Betty: Winesaps tossed with orange juice and cinnamon, then buried under a buttery brown-sugar crumb that crisps as it bakes.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mound apples in buttered 9-inch pie plate (or casserole dish).
Sprinkle with orange juice.
Combine sugar, flour, spice and dash of salt.
Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle over apples and bake at 357Β° for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
Serve warm topped with ice cream!
