Ann's Old Fashioned Egg Custard
Ann'S Old Fashioned Egg Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick margarine, 4 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. self-rising flour and 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a large 10-inch glass pie plate, melt margarine; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, one at a time, with a fork. Add sugar; stir well.
Add flour; stir well.
Add flavoring and stir.
Add milk; mix and pour into pie plate.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes; turn down to 300° and bake 30 more minutes.
Cool at least 2 hours before cutting.
