Anise Cookies
Anise Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, dash of salt, 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cream butter. Add sugar gradually and blend well.
Stir in unbeaten egg yolks and anise extract until batter is smooth.
Add flour mixture.
Nip off little pieces of dough and roll into balls size of a cherry. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 425Β° for 7 to 8 minutes.
Cool before removing from cookie sheet.
