Angel Food Cake
Angel Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sifted cake flour, 11 egg whites, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. cream of tartar and 1 1/4 c. sifted sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Resift flour 3 times.
Add salt to egg whites and whip until foamy.
Add cream of tartar; whip until stiff and will hold peak. Fold in sugar, one tablespoon at a time; add flavoring.
Fold in flour, 2 tablespoons at a time.
Bake in 9-inch tube pan for 3/4 to 1 hour.
Turn cake over, permitting cooling before removing from pan.
