Put flour in mixing bowl.
Put egg in a measuring cup and add enough ice water to equal 1/2 cup and add to flour.
Pack together with hands, handling as little as possible, into a ball.
Roll out for a 9-inch pie shell.
Fill with favorite pie filling or bake at 350Β° until light brown, about 30 minutes.
