Almost Mom'S Meat Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. ground beef, 1 (12 oz.) pork sausage roll, 2 to 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut up, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cook meat and drain off grease.
Set aside.
Boil potatoes and onion until soft.
Drain (reserve some liquid) and mash to a runny consistency.
(Add some of the drained liquid, if too dry.) Mix in cooked meat and spices.
If you make your own crust, use a little less Crisco.
If you are using premade crust follow instructions for a 2 crust pie.
Bake on lower oven shelf at 425Β° for 30 minutes.
