Almond Roca(Candy)
Almond Roca(Candy) is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. water, 1 lb. real butter, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped or sliced almonds and 1 large hershey bar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Medium saucepan, stir sugar and water, then add butter.
265° (hard boil stage; you need a candy thermometer).
Add 2/3 of the almonds.
Stir constantly to 295° (hard crack stage).
Remove and pour into cookie sheet to cool.
Sprinkle a large Hershey bar over the top and when melted, spread around.
Sprinkle with the remaining almonds. Cool and break into pieces.
