Almond Rice
Almond Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped green peppers, 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 stick margarine, 1 1/2 c. rice and 2 cans consomme soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Put first 3 ingredients in a casserole dish, place in 350Β° oven and cook for 15 minutes.
Then add rice, 1 can consomme soup and one can of water; cook uncovered for 45 minutes.
Then add 1 can consomme soup and cook covered 45 minutes.
Last 15 minutes, put nuts on top.
Pecans are a nice replacement for almonds, actually better.
