Almond-Cherry Circles

Combine biscuit mix, milk and almond extract.
Turn out onto floured surface; knead gently 8 to 10 strokes.
Roll dough to 12 x 7-inch rectangle.
Spread with butter.
Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough.
Roll up, starting with long side; seal seam. Cut into 1-inch slices.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Flatten slightly with palm of hand.
Make large depression in center with fingers.
Bake at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Spoon 1 tablespoon preserves into center of each.
Makes 12 rolls.
