Abby's Pecan Pie
Abby'S Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. light corn syrup, 1 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar, 1/3 c. melted butter, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3 eggs, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Mix syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla.
Add eggs; mix.
Pour into pie shell.
Sprinkle pecans over filling.
Bake pie about 1 hour.
Makes 6 servings.
(If using a gas oven, the pie should be baked 45 to 50 minutes.)
If a toothpick inserted in center of pie comes out clean, pie is done (test after 45 minutes).
