7-Up Cake
7-Up Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks butter, 1/2 c. shortening, 3 c. sugar, 5 whole eggs and 3 c. plain unsifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream shortening, butter and sugar well.
Add eggs and continue beating.
Add flour gradually.
Add flavoring.
Last, slowly add 7-Up.
Pour into large tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
(Make sure pan is greased and floured.)
Do not use any other carbonated drink.
