Zucchini Beef Bake
Zucchini Beef Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 medium zucchini, sliced 1/4-inch rounds, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1/2 c. diced celery and 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Spread zucchini evenly in a greased 13 x 9-inch Pyrex pan; set aside.
Brown beef, onion and celery; drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, wine and seasonings.
Spoon over zucchini. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes until mixture bubbles and cheese is lightly browned.
Can be put together day before and refrigerated.
If so, bake a little longer and add cheese the last 10 minutes.
