Zola's Pecan Sticks
Zola'S Pecan Sticks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. light brown sugar, packed, 2 eggs, 1 1/4 c. pecans and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs.
Sift salt and baking powder with flour; add vanilla and pecans.
Grease pan and dust with flour.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Bake in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Ice when cool with butter or caramel icing, then cut in sticks or squares.
Cool before removing from pan, about 20 minutes.
