Yummy Refrigerator Dessert
Yummy Refrigerator Dessert is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 22 minutes. Made with (7 1/2 oz.) box vanilla wafers, . melted butter, eggs, c. confectioners sugar and . vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Crush vanilla wafers.
Mix 1/2 of the crumbs with 2 tablespoons melted butter and spread in bottom of 8 or 9-inch square Pyrex dish.
Beat eggs until frothy and add confectioners sugar, vanilla and 1/2 cup softened butter.
Place egg mixture over crumbs; sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts over egg mixture.
Top nuts with pineapple.
Top pineapple with 1/2 pint stiffly beaten whipped cream.
Sprinkle rest of cookie crumbs over whipped cream. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
Top each serving with maraschino cherry.
