Yum-Yum Salad
Yum-Yum Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can crushed pineapple, don't drain, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 (3 oz.) box lemon jello, dry, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened and 1 c. finely chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine pineapple and sugar; cook 3 minutes.
Add jello (no water) and cream cheese.
Leave on low a while until all big chunks of cheese soften.
Cool after stirring until well mixed. When it starts to thicken, add celery, nuts and apples.
Mix Dream Whip according to package directions and fold in.
Chill several hours.
Serves 12.
