Yum Yum Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its own juice (not heavy syrup), 1/3 c. sugar, 2 boxes vanilla pudding (cooking kind) and cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Make cake as directed. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together pineapple and sugar; bring to a boil.
Pour over warm cake.
Cook pudding according to package directions.
While still warm, pour over pineapple mixture.
Cool and top with Cool Whip. Must be kept in the refrigerator.
