Preheat oven to 450Β°.

Mix flour, milk and egg until blended. Beat until smooth. Add salt and pepper.

Put pie plate on top shelf (allowing 4-inch clearance for pudding to rise).

Pour drippings into glass pie plate.

Pour batter into pie plate slowly.

Push in rack slowly.

Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until pudding has risen and has lightly browned.

Serve with roast beef and top with gravy.

Serves 4.
