Yellow Squash Casserole
Yellow Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. yellow squash, 2 small onions, chopped, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 pt. sour cream and 1 can chopped pimentos, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook squash and onions in water until tender; drain.
Add next 4 ingredients and mix.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Mix dressing; use 1 stick of butter instead of 1/2 stick.
Grease baking dish and line bottom with dressing mix.
Add squash mix on top of dressing. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of squash mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Makes 2 casseroles.
